Customer Reviews
This is a solid, useful introduction to both the framework of Reversal Theory and its application in sport. Reversal Theory has great potential in the sports performance domain, and is used by a growing number of sport psychologists, but it is poorly represented in the mainstream sport psychology literature. I thoroughly recommend this book as a way of getting into the theory and beginning to introduce it into your practice. On the theoretical side, it is not surprising that Michael Apter's (the founder of the theory) texts give more depth, but this is a good point at which to start your exploration. Note that this book is not intended to be a review of the research literature.
