Conquering ACL Surgery and Rehabilitation is an interactive multimedia CD-ROM that provides ACL surgery patients with:
•Video clips and written accounts of former ACL surgery patients describing their experiences and offering suggestions to new patients
•Video clips of a board certified orthopedic surgeon describing the surgery and rehabilitation process in plain language
•Anatomical and surgical animations
•Checklists and tips for talking with the orthopedic surgeon about surgery, preparing one’s body, mind, and home before surgery, returning home after surgery, and sticking to the rehabilitation program
•A rehabilitation journal designed to facilitate goal setting and positive self-talk during rehabilitation
•Audio clips presenting a guided imagery program shown in clinical research to enhance rehabilitation outcomes after ACL surgery
•Links to online resources
